Angela Talton, Chief Diversity Officer, Nielsen, joins special guest line-up for Evident Impact!

Angela L. Talton is the Chief Diversity Officer for Nielsen. Appointed to this role in November, 2015, she is responsible for Nielsen's global strategy for diversity and inclusion initiatives internally and strategic community alliances and brand awareness externally. Prior to this role, Angela was Nielsen's Senior Vice President, Global Diversity & Inclusion.

During her tenure in this role, Nielsen progressively improved its ranking to become one of the top companies for diversity and inclusion on DiversityInc's Top 50 Companies list, Diversity MBA's Best Companies for Diversity and Inclusion and in achieving a 100 score on the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Quality Index.
Angela was elected Executive Committee Chair to The Conference Board's Council of Global Diversity & Inclusion Executives in March, 2015 having served as Vice Chair in 2014. In 2015, she received the Diversity Woman's "Stars who mean Business" Rising Star Award.

Angela has over 17 years operations, three years diversity & inclusion, two years IT, and six years financial reporting experience. She holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Angela is a native of Greensboro, NC.
